Hazel Ozell Henson, 87, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born Jan. 27, 1916, in Lenox, Tenn., daughter of the late William Hush and Sarah Maynard Bishop, she was a nurse and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Campbell.
On Dec. 24, 1932, in Blytheville, Ark., she married Dudley Thomas Henson, who preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1995. She was also preceded in death by two sons, William and Charles Henson; one grandson, Michael Henson; four sisters, Ola Strout, Lottie Cook, Thelma Cole and Hilda Ursey and three brothers, Bill, Blake and Joe Bishop.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry W. Henson, of Los Angeles, Calif., Jack E. Henson, of Memphis, Tenn. and D. Keith henson, of Chesterfield, Mo. and four grandchildren, Jerry henson, Jr., of Los Angeles, Aimee and John Henson, both of Little Rock, Ark. and Steven Henson, of Wichita, Kan.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Turner and Bruce Vinson officiating.
Burial will folllow at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
