Charles Lee McDonald, 68, of Malden, Mo., formerly of Marble Hill, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Born Nov. 8, 1935, in Magness, Ark., son of the late Rube Lee and Ruth Batson McDonald, he taught in the Woodland R4 School District, worked for Maco Construction in Clarkton, Mo., was a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Marble Hill and Malden and a member of the Malden and Marble Hill Jaycees. He served on the Malden School Board, Malden Airport Board, was a Boy Scout leader, Malden Little League Coach and a member of the Marble Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four brothers, Lawrence McDonald and wife, Wanda, Bob McDonald and wife, Bonnie, Terry McDonald and wife, Ann and Roy McDonald and wife, Carla, all of Malden; a sister-in-law, Margaret McDonald, of Malden and 12 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William "Bill" McDonald.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Wigger officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
Pallbearers are Robby, Bobby, Shane, Gary and Tim McDonald and Joe Jackson.
