Roy Lee Pratt, 79, of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born Nov. 13, 1924, in Burbon, Mo., son of Columbus and Rue Johnson Pratt, he was U.S. Navy veteran, serving in WWII, agent for Von Der Ahe Moving & Storage Co. and served on the Malden City Council. He was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Malden.
On July 2, 1966, in Dexter, he married Bernice Strain Clark, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, James Pratt and wife, Valarie, of Robertsville, Mo. and Dennis Pratt and wife, Barbara, of Athens, Ala.; one daughter, Diana Aufderheide and husband, Jim, of St. Ann, Mo.; two step-sons, Dwight Clark and wife, Vicki, of Cedar Hill, Mo. and Rod Clark and wife, Kathy, of Malden; two brothers, Carl Pratt, of St. Louis, Mo. and Floyd Pratt, of St. Clair, Mo.; one sister, Edith Skaggs, of Burbon; five grandchildren; six step-grandchidlren and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Pratt and one sister, Nadine Pratt.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the First Presbyterian Church in Malden with the Revs. Bob Phillips and Virgil Harp officiating.
Burial will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
