James Riddle, 74, of Holcomb, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at his residence.
Born Feb. 1, 1929, in Holcomb, son of the late Elmer and Iza Smith Riddle, he was a farm laborer, served on the Holcomb Township board and was a member of the Asembly of God Church in Holcomb.
On Nov. 5, 1949, he married Betty Taylor, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Jimmy Riddle, of Wappapello, Mo. and Jeff Riddle and wife, Debbie, of Dexter, Mo.; one daughter, Brenda Troutt, of Holcomb; six grandchildren, Cindy Sutton and Tara Wilson, both of Kennett, Brad Riddle, of St. Francis, Ark., Cody Troutt, of Holcomb, Clayton Riddle, of Dexter and Nicholas Sutton, of McDougal, Ark. and three great-grandchildren, Leah Brock and Myca Sutton, both of Kennett and Caleb Riddle, of St. Francis.
He was preceded in death by one son, Billy Riddle; one brother, Jarrell Riddle and one sister, Shelby Riddle.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 21, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Howard Kirby officiating.
Burial will follow at the Loyd Cemetery in Campbell.
