Bessie A. Brown, 96, of Kennett, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003 at the Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett.
Born March 27, 1907 in Greenville, Mo., daughter of the late Johnny Franklin and Mary Fox Wills, she was a member of the First General Baptist Church of Kennett.
On April 7, 1926, she married Conard B. Brown, who preceded her in death in 1977.
Surivors include four sons, Willard Brown and wife, Louise, of Green Valley, Ill., Burly Brown and wife, Bonnie, of Dexter, Mo., Ron Brown and wife, Joan, of Saltillo, Miss., and Frank Brown and wife, Pat, of Kennett; four daughters, Peggy Hill of Caruth, Mo., Norma Taylor and husband, Jim, of Kennett, Teresa Tate and husband, Tommy, of Kennett and Roberta Champ of Kennett; two sisters, Freeda Bolin, of Moro, Ill. and Margie Mayberry, of Collinsville, Ill.; 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev's Gary Gelsinger and Jack Jack Allen officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens in Kennett.
Pallbearers were Dennis Chailland, Rick Chailland, David Brown, Roger Camp, Patrick Brown and Mike Scoggins.
