Born Sept. 14, 1918, in Los Angeles, Calif., son of the late Earl and Selma Bediant, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII and a farmer.
On March 29, 1980, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., he married Anna Bullard Bryant, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Benny Bediant, of Campbell; 10 step-children and two sisters, Dorothy Summers, of Poplar Bluff and Eleanor Summers, of Collinsville, Ill.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Bediant.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Needham officiating.
Burial will follow at the Elder Cemetery in Campbell.
