Donald Lee Gibson, Sr., 71, of Paragould, Ark., died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Born July 14, 1932, in Arbyrd, Mo., son of the late Dave P. and Alice Pruett Gibson, he was retired from General Motors-Buick Division in Flint, Mich. and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include seven sons, Michael P. Gibson and wife, Charlotte, of Pensacola, Fla., Earl W. Gibson and wife, Kim, Bryan Norvell and wife, Vicky, Bradley Norvell and wife, Ruth, Michael Gibson and wife, Tanya and John Gibson, all of Paragould and Donald Gibson, Jr. and wife, Susan, of Mtn. Home, Ark.; two daughters, Alice Barron, of Paragould and Donna Morris and husband, Wayne, of Jonesboro; two brothers, Jimmy Gibson and wife, Joni, of Ft. Meyers, Fla. and Marion Gibson and wife, Jackie, of Cardwell, Mo.; six sisters, Billie Holloway and husband, James, Bonnie Sue Holleman and Judy Pidgeon and husband, John, all of Flint, Jean Ball and husband, Joe, of Arbyrd, Jerri Hutton and husband, Sam. of Manila, Ark. and Mary Davis, of Leachville, Ark.; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Foutch and Artie Mae Gibson and one son, Rubert Gibson.
No services are planned at this time.
