Marion Susie Hobbs, 52, of Senath, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 11, 1951, in Rector, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Leo and Wanda Clayton Cranford.
On May 24, 1968, in Piggott, Ark., she married Jessie Barry Hobbs, who preceded her in death on June 8, 2001. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Glenda Cunningham and Gwendolyn Twitty.
Survivors include two sons, Stevie Hobbs, of Caruthersville, Mo. and Jessie Jr. J.J. Hobbs and wife, Laura, of Cardwell, Mo.; one daughter, Jackie Lance, of Kennett; three brothers, Terry Cranford, of Senath, Tommy Cranford, of Moberly, Mo. and Sherman Cranford, of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Myers anbd Girtie Cook, both of Kennett; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Kim Smith officiating.
Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery.
