Mary Lou Bishop, 57, of Munford, Tenn., formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003.
Born on Dec. 2, 1945 in Bogota, Tenn., a daughter of the late Eddie Sigmund and Allie Juanita Denton Pierce, she was a former school teacher and member of the First Baptist Church of Hayti.
On August 3, 1974 in Hayti, she married Harrell Robert Bishop, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include, two daughters, Jennifer Lynn and Nancy Jane Bishop, both of Munford, Tenn.; one grandson, Evan Scott Bishop, of Munford, Tenn.; one brother, Eddie S. Pierce, Jr., of Hayti and many relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 in the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville, Mo., with the Rev. Eddie Roden officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were, Donald G. Bishop, Ron Birmingham, and John Taylor.
