Mildred "Bib" Fowler, 89, of Kennett, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at her residence.
Born May 21, 1914, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of the late Otis D. and Mary Hunt Brown, she was a Sunday School teacher for the First Baptist Church. She was also a school teacher and owner and operator of National Cleaners 1941-1977.
On July 17, 1938, she married Lucien Fowler, who preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Orvis and Lyle Brown and one sister, Velma Ormsbee.
Survivors include one son, Marty Fowler, of Kennett; one daughter, Luann Roberts, of Ashland, Mo., four grandchildren, Eric Fowler, of Sturgeon Bay, Wis., Luke Fowler, of Kennett and Jason and Matt Roberts, both of Ashland, Mo. and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov.1 at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
