Ila Gertrude Hall, 93, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
Born Feb. 7, 1910, in Wayne County, Tenn., daughter of the late Calvin and Mima Adeline Morris Pulley, she had worked in the Masonic Home in St. Louis, Mo. and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville.
She married Clyde Fieldon Hall, who preceded her in death in December, 1964. She was also preceded in death by three sons, James Clifton, Eulis Everett and Ray Dean Hall; four sisters and one step-brother.
Survivors include two daughters, Buna Elta Vales and husband, Elbert, of Toones, Tenn. and Dorothy A. Hall, of Caruthersville and one son, Marion E. Hall and wife, Romie, of Lutts, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.
Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Bobby Gibson, Ray Gurley, Marion Hall, Mike Melton, Martin Ray and Bobby Irions.
