George Hollinger, 85, of Kennett, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Aug. 13, 1918, in Drummond, Tenn., son of the late Samuel Witt and Oma Hill Hollinger, he was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II.
On Oct. 15, 1975, in Caseyville, Ill., he married Dorothy Mae Kudirka, who survives.
Survivors also include one brother, Ted Hollinger, of Sheridan, Ark.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, William, James and Glen Hollinger and one sister, Ethel.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Father Allan Saunders officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Patrick and Shane Cole, Jerry and Jesse Gore, Tom Gurley and Bob Redman.
