Norman Burkhead

Normn Lee "Bud" Burkhead, 62, of Hohenwald, Tenn., died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tenn.

Born Feb. 7, 1941, in West Ridge, Ark., son of the late Herbert and Audrey Cross Burkhead, he was a farmer.

Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth Burkhead, of Hohenwald and Larry Burkhead and wife, Vicki, of Corryton, Tenn.; one sister, Pat Reeves and husband, Don, of Joelton, Tenn.; best friend, Billy Henderson and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Andrews officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
