Lillian Maxine Stanfield Cole, 80, of Blytheville, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 13, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born July 1, 1913, in Burdette, Ark., daughter of the late Percy and Dovie Lee Cole Stanfield, she was a sales clerk at Belks Department Store and member of the Luxora First Baptist Church.
She married Elmer Cole, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Forrest Stanfield and one sister.
Survivors include one son, Forrest Wayne Cole and wife, Judy, of Blytheville; one brother, Percy Stanfield, Jr, of Jackson, Miss.; four sisters, Elaine Freeman, Lorraine McCain and Wynette Elkins, all of Jonesboro, Ark. and Rayburn Cecil, of Marion, Ark.; one grandson, Richard Brett Cole, of Hot Springs, Ark.; three step-grandchildren, Heather Foster, of Cabot, Ark., Glen Foster, of Gibson, Mo. and Deanna Hoppe, of Lorton, Va.; two great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lynsol Richmond officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
