Johnnie Mae Patten, 80, of Kennett, died Monday, Oct. 6, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.
Born Sept. 8, 1923, in Okolona, Miss., a daughter of William and Callie Ezell Lagrone, she was a homemaker and member of St. John A.M.E. Church.
On Dec. 5, 1943, she married Robert Lee Patten, Jr.
She is survived by two foster children, Daniel Moore and Louise Townsend of Malden, Mo., two nephews and four nieces, Gearlie and Venus Wheeler of Kennett, Ruby Traylor, Annette Traylor, and Perllie Mae Golden of Michigan and Arlie B. Wheeler of Oakland, Calif.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, until service time at noon in the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Juliet Hemphill officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers will be J.W. Brooks, LaVan Pulliam, Joe Rodges, James Williams, John McKinney and Bobby Gardner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gearlie Wheeler, David Wheeler, George White, Herman White, Leon Pulley and Kareem Pulley.
