Walker Wilborn, 87, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Arbyrd, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark.
Born Oct. 26, 1915, in Ripley, Tenn., son of the late George and Rosa Wilborn, he was a farmer and a member of the Center Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Ken Wilborn, of Turkey, N.C.; two daughters, Marilyn Dempsey, of Memphis, Tenn. and Dawna Schatzley, of Paragould; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Wilborn; one son, Ronny Wilborn; one brother, Clifford Wilborn and one sister, Alma Flippin.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with John Binkley, Chris Dempsey and Andy Schatzley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lulu Cemetery in Hollywood, Mo.
Pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons.
Memorials may be made to the Center Hill Church of Christ Building Fund.
