Daniel Joe Flowers, 44, of Blytheville, Ark., died Friday, September 5, 2003 in Memphis, Tenn.
Born on August 8, 1959, in Hayti, Mo., a son of Vincient and Jessie Mitchum of Blytheville, Ark., he was a self-employed painter and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Damien Flowers of Hayti, and Anthony Rollings of Venia, Ohio; one daughter, Reva Flowers of Hayti; fiance, Shirelene Adams of Blytheville, Ark; two sisters, Doris Mitchum and Elaine Crosby, both of Blytheville; three brothers, Paul and Glen Flowers, both of Blytheville, and Ricky Flowers of Milwaukee, Wis.; ex-wife, Emma Flowers of Hayti, and grandmother, Earlean Flowers of St. Louis, Mo.;
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the New Faith Baptist Church in Blytheville, Ark., with Rev. Scott officiating.
Burial was in the Morning Star Cemetery in Steele, Mo.
