Florida Bell Williamson, 87, of Parma, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at the Malden Nursing Center in Malden, Mo.
Born June 8, 1916, in Clarendon, Ark., daughter of the late Will and Bell Richardson Madden, she was a member of the Jurisdicitional Church of God in Christ in Parma, serving as ditrict missionary and evangelist and was on the Mother's Board in the Church of God in Christ in Parma. She was a substitute teacher, librarian, business proprietor, real estate owner and social worker before retiring.
In 1934, in Hayti, Mo., she married Rufus Williamson, who prececded her in death in 1989. In 1991, she married, in Parma, she married Johnny Bledsoe, who preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include 11 children, Rufus Williamson and wife, Rapunzel, Lee Williamson and wife, Regina, Robbie Williamson and wife, Lula, Lewis Williamson and wife, Annette, Robert Williamson and wife, Ceola, Ray Williamson and wife, Linda, David Williamson and wife, Betty, Jackie Jones and husband, Bill, Oteria McCullough and husband, Wilbert, Minnie Phillips and husband, Victor and Dorothy Adewole and husband, Ige; 50 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Parma Community Center with Elder Ronald Pulley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.
