Wayne King Early, 55, of Bernie, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003 at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born June 4, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of the late Alvie Lester and Ruby Rebecca Gill Early, he was a U.S. Army veteran, owner of Early Lawn Service and a former coach. He was a teacher at New Madrid R1 Schools and a member of the Stanfield General Baptist Church in Gideon, Mo.
He was married to Arvilla Early, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include three daughters, Bethany Britt and husband, Phillip, of Kennett, Courtney Boone and husband, Larry, of Gideon and Gentry Vancil and husband, Marty, of Holcomb, Mo.; one brother Billy Joe Early, of Maryland Heights, Mo.; one sister, Martha Sue Bogle, of Morehouse, Mo. and seven grandchildren, Jackson and Dawson Britt and Jody Vancil, all of Kennett, Maci, Jordan and Slayton Boone, both of Gideon and Anna Beth Vancil, of Holcomb.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Revs. Susan Marner-Sides and Bill Orr officiating.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
