Carl Hatton, 74, of Clarkton, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003 at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born Feb. 2, 1929 in Campbell, Mo., son of the late Arnold and Maude Sanders Hatton, he was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War, an inspector for Ludlow-Saylor Wire Co. in St. Louis, Mo. and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include one son, Terry Hatton, of Portageville, Mo.; one brother, Carlton Hatton, of Clarkton and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Jeff, Clarence, Leon and Lavern Hatton and two sisters, Lucille Nash and Thelma Hampton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
