Bobby Estes

Bobby Joe "Bob" Estes, 64, of Hayti, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.

Born July 30, 1937, in Lutesville, Mo., son of the late Earl and Gerldine Yount Estes, he was a dispatcher for Huntco Steel and attended the Jehovah's Witnesses Church.

On July 30, 1982, in Dallas Texas, he married Janie Ross, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include two daughters, Ramona Estes, of Ft. Worth, Texas and Ronda Hollaway, of Kennett; one son, Mike Estes, of Paragould, Ark.; one step-son, Randy Tomlin, of Hayti; one step-daughter, Janet Little, of Steele, Mo.; two sisters, Mildred Sartin, of Walls, Tenn. and Sue Hill, of Caraway, Ark. and two brothers, Hubert and Bill Estes, both of Kennett.

He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Diana Waldrop. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, at the John German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Frankie Lane officiating.

Burial was in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville, Mo. Pallbearers were Josh Tomlin, Andrew Waldrop, Jeremy Griggs, Arron and Jamie Little and Bradley Hollaway.

David Fletcher

David Ricky Fletcher, 47, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.

Born May 26, 1954, in St. Louis, Mo., son of Helen Smith, of Caruthersville and the late Sterling Fletcher, he worked at Mo. Fabrication in Caruthersville and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors also include one daughter, India Nichole Fletcher, of Caruthersville; two brothers, Thomas A. and Edward Fletcher, both of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Sandra Hilburn and Dixie Forsythe, both of Caruthersville and a special friend, Charlie Walker.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Rev. Mike Melton officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti. Pallbearers were David Pendergrass, Mike Stines, Troy Forsythe, James Dyer, Terry White and Tyrone Stevens.

Vernevelyn Graham

Vernevelyn Christine Gaham, 75, of Doniphan, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at Ripley County Hospital.

Born Aug. 20, 1926, in Gideon, Mo., daughter of the late Earnest and Alma Lou Berry Beline, Sr., she was a homemaker and attended the Current River Baptist Church in Doniphan.

On Nov. 23, 1973, she married Orval Ellis Graham, who preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1996.

Survivors include one brother, Earnest Beline, Jr., of Doniphan and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 4, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Gideon.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Wesley Flaugh officiating.

Burial will follow at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo. Kenneth Harper, veteran

Kenneth Harper, 42, of hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at Springfield, Mo.

Born June 29, 1959, in Hayti, son of Martha Harper, of Hayti, he was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors also include three sisters, Joyce Harper, of Kennett, Ruby Higgins and husband, Ralph, of Memphis, Tenn. and Charlotte Presberry and husband, Roy, of Hayti.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at the John German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Rev. Luther Butler officiating.

Burial was in the Concord Cemetery at Hayti.

Mary Hartsoe

Mary Lou Hartsoe, 74, of Cardwell, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born at Illmo, Mo., daughter of the late Cliffton and Louise Harris, she was a member of the Cardwell First Baptist Church, serving as church pianist for 35 years and a retired English teacher with Senath-Hornersville High School.

She was married to Vernon Hartsoe, who preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Tina Mayer and husband, David, of Memphis; one granddaughter, Emily Ann Mayer, of Memphis; two brothers, Bob Harris, of Dexter, Mo. and Charles Harris, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and one sister, Liz Shawan, of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Howard Funeral Home in Leachville, Ark.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the First Baptist Church in Cardwell with Rev. Clyde Cook officiating.

Burial will follow at the Cardwell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be V.C. Wheeler, Van Ray Hawkins, Doug Kemmett, Morris Alan Lambert, Frank Crail, Jr. and Grover Bruce Crail.

The family requests that any memorials be made to the Cardwell Cemetery Fund.

William Henson

Rev. William E. Henson, 79, of New Madrid, Mo., formerly of Holcomb, Mo., died today, Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at his residence.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Bob Medlock and Don Slatton officiating. Doyle Morgan. veteran

Doyle Morgan, 62, of Princeton, Ind., formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001, at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Born April 23, 1939, in Braggadocio, Mo., son of Delia Lane Murphy Morgan and the late Harvey Dee Morgan, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked as a drag line operator for Operators Union Local 181 in Princeton.

Survivors include two daughters, Kem Belinda McHenry and husband, David, of St. Louis and Shelia Gail Morgan, of Washington, Mo.; two sons, Doyle Gene Morgan and wife April, of Chandler, Ind. and Bill Kelly and wife, Sherrie, of Fort Branch, Ind.; three grandsons, Austin and Daniel Morgan and Nathanil Kelley; two granddaughters, Sarah and Stephine McHenry; mother and father, Delia and Richard Ashbaugh; five sisters, Dorothy Kelley and husband, Tommy, of Ruth, Calif., Linda Clayton and Deborah Parker and husband, Kevin, all of Hayti, Kay Davidson and husband, Gary, of New London, Mo. and Diann Bridgeman and husband, Ron, of Sullivan, Mo. and an adopted sister, Virginia Glass and husband, P.J., of Hayti.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Rev. Jerry Baker officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.

Herschel Osborn

Herschel Osborn, 89, of Qulin, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at his residence.

Billy Stone

Billy Stone, 70, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001 at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Excelsior Springs.

Irene Whitaker

Irene Whitaker, 87, of Kennett, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at Natiional Health Care in Kennett.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 4, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating.

Burial will follow at the Cardwell Cemetery in Cardwell, Mo.
