Danny Dewayne Batchelor, 32, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2001, at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Born Oct. 20, 1968, in Texarkana, Texas, son of Bill L. and Dana Sue Eades Batchelor, of Malden, he was a member of the Church of Christ in Malden and worked at Super 8 Motel.
In 1990, in Travis City, Mich., he married Tracy Larson, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Stacy Ann Marie and Meghan Leigh Batchelor, both of Malden; one brother, Jason Batchelor and wife, Emily, of Barnhart, Mo. and two nieces, Skye and Jacey Batchelor.
Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Albert Gardner and Rob Reaves officiating.
Burial will follow at the rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
Georgia Mae Saunders, 80, of Senath, Mo., died, Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, at her residence.
Born Feb. 18, 1921, in Atlanta, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Robert John and Clara Jane Henry Gammey. On Feb. 6, 1939, in Michigan, she married James Albert Saunders, who preceded her in death in 1989.
Survivors include one daughter, Edna Virginia Motes, of Senath; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Mae Saunders, and three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Derek Combs officiating.
Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Johnny, Duane and Skeeter Motes, and Steve, Steven and Bradley Morgan.
Honorary pallbearer was Danny Motes.
