Pearl Burke

Pearl Burke, 89, of Kennett, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at National Health Care in Kennett.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett.

Frances Gibbons

Frances Lucille Davis Gibbons, 89, of Bells, Tenn., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, at her residence.

Born Dec. 20, 1911, daughter of the late Sam and Maude Wright Davis, she was a member of the Crossroads Church of Christ.

On June 29, 1929, she married Henry Asbury Gibbons, who preceded her in death in 1966.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Gibbons, of Muskegon, Mich; five daughters, Nell Edwards and husband, Paul and Betty Raines and husband, James, all of Bells, Sue Dunaway and husband, Larry, of Newbern, Tenn., Patsy Hanners and husband, David, of Senath, Mo. and Maudie Dokken and husband, Jim, of Brownsville; grandchildren, Terry and Linda Hardin, Teresa and Jerry Dupree, David, Cheryl and Jean Marie Palmer, Gene, Walter and April Yearwood, Joe and Laura Butler, Tracy and Jesse Brown and David and Jennifer Hanners; nine great-grandchildren and one brother, Norman Hall of Trenton, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Joe Vernon Gibbons and two infant sons; one daughter, Frances Gibbons Nolen and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Ronk Funeral Home in Alamo, Tenn.

Her sons-in-law and grandsons served as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Crossroads Church of Christ.

Michael Patterson

Michael James Patterson, 38, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, at his residence.

Born Dec. 19, 1962, in Kennett, he was the son of Cecil Patterson, of Malden and Betty Lemmons Haun, of Hautin, La.

Survivors also include two sons, Michael Maurice and David Lee Patterson, both of Hautin and two sisters, Julie Ann Cupp, of Insker, Mich. and Kathleen Jeanette Cattell, of Hautin.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce White officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
