Pearl Burk, 89, of Kennett, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at National Health Care in Kennett.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Doyle Burk officiating.
Raymond Conrad Darnell, 87, of Braggadocio, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at the Pemiscot Nursing Home in Hayti, Mo.
Born Feb. 26, 1914, in Braggadocio, son of the late Riley and Sene Barksdale Darnell, he was in the trucking business prior to his retirement and a member of the Braggadocio Baptist Church.
On May 13, 1939, in Blytheville, Ark., he married Zella Mae Parker, who preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Delorise Ann Bryant and Patricia Darnell, both of Braggadocio; two sons, Russell Conrad Darnell, of Braggadocio and Bobby Beck, of Senath, Mo.; four grandchildren, Tamie Marie Edleman, of Fort Bragg, Calif., Michael Raymond Wallace and Jeremy Conrad Darnell, both of Braggadocio and Ryan Conrad Darnell, of Malden, Mo.; six great-grandchildren, Logan Claire and Lauren Elizabeth Darnell, both of Malden, Lauren Holly and Brittany Taylor Wallace, both of Braggadocio and Sabrina and Aron Edleman, both of Fort Bragg and one sister, Dorothy Bennett, of Hayti, Mo.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville, Mo. with the Rev. David Boyd officiating.
Burial was in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Pat Trevathan, Tommy Lynn Crowe, Larry Thrasher, Paul Wayne Wilcox, G.W. Clay and Billy Pearson.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Albert Faris and H.L. Thornton.
Joy L. Davidson, 67, of Brookston, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Paris, Texas.
Born Nov. 18, 1934, in Clay County, Ark., the daughter of the late Homer and Letha Faught Eakins, she was a member of the Highway Full Gospel Church and worked for the Comfort Inn in Paris.
On Jan. 26, 1953, in Phoenix, Ariz., she married Fred Davidson, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include four daughters, Peggy Urias and husband, Roger, of Dayton, Texas, Teresa Ridens and husband, Michael, of Paris, Wendy Hayes and husband, Jeff, of Austin, Texas and Kim Tredway and husband, Donny, of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Jackie Eakins, of Kingman, Ariz; two sisters, Bonnie Hogue, of Malin, Ore. and Jean Lindeen, of Hastings Neb.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, Rickey Davidson; one grandchild, Jodie Searle; one great-grandchild, Cheyenne Real and two brothers and two sisters.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel of Texas with the Rev. Dverle Archer officiating.
Graveside services were held at 11:30 a.m. today, Friday, Nov. 30, at the Cardwell Cemetery in Cardwell, Mo. with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Arbyrd, Mo. in charge of arrangements.
Elzie "Dolly" Moore, 41, of Rector, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at her residence.
Born Nov. 7, 1960, in Phoenix, Ariz., she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ada Watkins Easley.
On April 4, 1977, she married Rick Moore, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include one son, Ricky Moore, Jr., of Fredricktown, Mo.; one daughter, Jennifer Killian and husband, Larry Sr., of Holcomb, Mo.; four grandchildren, Karissa, Chelsey, Kyle and Austin; four brothers, Benny Easley, of Nimmons, Ark., Robert Lee Easley, of Kennett, Richard Lee Easley, of Jefferson City, Mo. and Robert Wayne Easley, of Rector, Ark. and five sisters, Ora Mae Speer, of Rector, Renee Hopper and Brandy Davis, both of Kennett and Lisa Easley and Ada Theodoropoulos, both of Paragould, Ark.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Wayne and Richard Lee Easley II; one sister, Linnie Sue Easley and one gandson, Larry Dewayne Killian, Jr.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Friday, Nov. 30, at the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rob Moore officiating.
Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery at Pollard, Ark.
Pallbearers were Chris Moore, Derek Scheffler, Josh Moore, Larry Killian, Robert Easley and Porter Stow.
