Michael Haynes, 42, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Weatherford, Texas.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett.
David Ray Lemonds, 52, of Kennett, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born July 14, 1949, in Kennett, son of Genevia Huffstutler Luther, of Kennett and the late Cecil Lynn Lemonds, he was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
On March 15, 1969, in Kennett, he married Rebecca Faye Averett, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two daughters, Jill Lemonds, of Memphis, Tenn. and Sarah Lemonds, of Kennett; two brothers, Dale Lemonds, of Elko, Nev. and Jack Lemonds, of Kennett and one sister, Barbara Williams, of Kennett.
He was preceded in death by one son, John David Lemonds.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman and Spencer Furby officiating.
Burial was in the Sumach Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tom Harmon, Tommy Price, Rick Gore, Carl Williams, Carlos Woodard and Kerry Noble.
Mary Jane McAdams, 81, formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at the Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock, Ark.
Born July 4, 1920, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of the late Henry and Mary Belle Euell, Sr., she was a member of the Hayti United Methodist Church and with her husband, owned and operated the IGA Grocery Store in Hayti.
On Nov. 2, 1937, in Piggott, Ark., she married O.E. "Cobb" McAdams, who preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1987. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Terri Anne McAdams.
Survivors include one son, Larry Clinton McAdams and wife, Carol Ann, of Little Rock, Ark.; two granddaughters, Karen Jo Thurman and Pamela Kay McKinnis; three great-grandchildren, Terri Ann Howard and Damon and Elena McKinnis; one brother, H.R. Euell, Jr. and wife, Elizabeth, of Hayti; one sister, Wanda Cole and husband, Wesley, of Pascola, Mo.; one niece, Mary Ann Sanders, of Hayti and two nephews, Steve and Lee Cole, of Pascola.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at the Hayti First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dan Fulbright officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti.
