Rev. Agie Lee
Rev. Agie Lee, 78, of Joiner, Ark., died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, at his residence.
Born Jan. 1, 1924, in Clarksville, Miss., son of the late John and Rosie Glover Lee, he was an office worker and a member of the Jubilee Baptist Church in Joiner.
Survivors include his wife, Sister Josephine Fisher Lee, of Joiner; one daughter, Cynthia Sanders, of Huntsville, Ala.; one daughter-in-law, Frances Lee, of Cairo, Ill.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 16, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
Robert Ford, 91, of Gideon, Mo., died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at the Gideon Care Center.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the Bradshaw Funeral Home of Gideon.
James Marvin "Cotton" Powell, 76, of Hayti, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, at Jackson, Tenn.
Born Sept. 16, 1925, in Vina, Ala., son of the late Frank and Ida Bullen Powell, he was an auto body repairman.
Survivors include two duaghters, Linda Alsup, of Springfield, Mo. and Pat Tummins and husband, Ron, of Henderson, Tenn.; five sons, James Ray Powell and Jeffery Powell and wife, Georgia, all of Springfield and Allan Powell, Greg Powell and wife, Jolene , and Bryan Powell and wife, Brook, all of Spokane, Wash.; one step-daughter, Rhonda Lafferty, of East Prairie, Mo.; three sisters, Carlee Massey, of Marietta, Miss., Nellie Reynolds and husband, Jerone, of Osceola, Ind. and Agnes Wood and husband, Wallace, of Mountain View, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna Powell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Florence Staggs officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
