Lucille Jones

Lucille Jones, 87, of Senath, died Saturday, April 20, 2002 at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. today, Sunday, April 21, in the McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Senath.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 22, at First Baptist Church in Senath.

Johny Hopper

Johny Lee Hopper, 52, of Festus, Mo., died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at his residence.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, April 21, in the McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Charles Avants officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. James Kimbrow

James E. Kimbrow, 79, of Benton, Ark., died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at Saline Memorial Medical Center in Benton.

Born July 11, 1922, at Kennett, son of the late Whitson and Lernie Haddon Kimbrow, he was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. On Oct. 24, 1972, in Chicago, Ill., he married Josephine Alvarado, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, James Kimbrow and wife, Rhonda, of Oregon, three stepsons, Effrain Menchaca of Griffin, Ind., Daniel Menchaca of DeSoto, Texas and David Menchaca of Bryant, Ark.; a daughter, Cheryl Fay and husband, Michael, of Rowena, Colo; two brothers, Calvin Kimbrow of Huntsville, Ala. and Whitson Kimbrow, Jr. of North Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Mollie Dempsey of Wappapello, Mo., 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, in the McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Tim Whitfield and Charles James officiating.

Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Pallbearers were Ephraim James Menchaca and Joseph David Menchaca.

Marilyn Metzger

Marilyn June Metzger of Titusville, Fla., formerly of the Concord Community in Missouri, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002 in Titusville.

Born June 16, 1927 at Concord, she was the daughter of the late John and Susye Terrell. She was also preceded in death by two sister, Mary Alice Gann and Betty Ross.

On April 14, 1946, in Dry Bayou Church in Concord, she married J.W. "Sarge" Metzger, Sr., who survives of the home.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Sanders and her husband, Albert, of Orange Park, Fla., Shonna Loden and her husband, Michael W. and Tana Metzger all of Orlando, Fla.; a son, J.W. "Jamie" Metzger, Jr. of Portland, Tenn., two sisters, Peggy Anderson and Carolyn Hergesheimer, both of Paducah, Ky. and four grandchildren, Todd, Shawn and Tiffany Loden and Aric Sanders. Funeral services were Saturday, April 20, at First Baptist Church in Hayti with the Revs. Thomas Trigg Sanders and Barbara Phifer officiating.

Burial was in Dry Bayou Cemetery north of Hayti, Mo., under direction of John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti.

Pallbearers were brothers-in-law, B.A. Cross, Ralph Metzger, Jimmy Metzger, Lyle Anderson, LeRoy Hergesheimer and Fred Ross.

The family suggests memorials be give to Hospice of St. Francis, Inc., Titusville, Fla. or the Dry Bayou Cemetery in care of Bank of Hayti, Box 10, Hayti, Mo. 63851.

Edith Miller Edith Lucy Miller, 76, of Kennett, Mo., died Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.

Funeral services are at 4 p.m. today, Sunday, April 21, in McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett.

Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Becky West

Becky Ruth West, 44, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, Mo.

Born Jan. 9, 1958, in Hornersville, she was the daughter of Charles and Delta May Randl Twitty of Arbyrd, Mo.

Other survivors include two sons, Jeffery Michael West of St. Peters, Mo. and Jacob Michael West of Arbyrd; A daughter, Jamie Daniel West of Arbyrd; two brothers, Robert Pendergrass of St. Peters; a sister, Beth Twitty of St. Louis, Mo. and friend, Mark Ward of Arbyrd.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, at the McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Hornersville with the Rev. Alan Cureton officiating.

Burial was in the Horner Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wayne and Jim Randl, Ronnie and Charles Twitty, Rob Pendergrass, John Burton, Shane Clark and Craig Wells.

David Winberry

David Wayne Winberry, 26, died in Palo Pinto County, Texas, February 16, 2002.

Born Aug. 18, 1975, in Hayti, Mo., son of Junior Marshall and Virginia Hawks Winberry of Kennett, he was in the construction business.

Other survivors include a son, Phillip Winberry of Gideon; one brother, Larry Winberry of Kennett and one sister, Vonda Huddleston of Gosnell, Ark.

Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Friday, April 19, in H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville, Mo., with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
