Cornelaus Jackson

Cornelaus Jackson, 93, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Arrangements are incomplete with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden.

Eula Lancaster

Eula Lancaster, 82, of Campbell, Mo., died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.

Arrangements are incomplete with Landess Funeral Home of Campbell.

George Masters

George Vernon Masters, 77, formerly of Farmington, Mo., died Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at Fort Wayne, Ind.

Born May 20, 1925 in Kennett, Mo., son of the late Roy and Evie Broughton Masters, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II as a staff sergeant. He flew 33 combat missions as a tailgunner and was awarded the air medal five times. He graduated from Arkansas State College at Jonesboro, Ark. in 1953, taught school, worked for the Welfare and then the Department of Corrections , retiring as a parole officer in Indiana. He was of the Baptist faith.

On Aug. 21, 1946, in Qulin, Mo., he married Rose Lucille Beavers who preceded him in death Mar. 21, 1994.

Survivors include a son, Jim Masters and his wife, Linda, of Mishawaka, Ind.: a daughter, Theresa Olmes and her husband, Bob, of Vernon, Conn.; two brothers, Wayne Masters and his wife, Rebah, and Doyle Masters and his wife, Genevieve, all of Missouri; a sister, Dovie Thompson of Michigan; his mother-in-law, Lena Beavers of Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jimmy, Lisa, Shawn and Nikki Masters, all of Indiana, Danielle Olmes Baumgardner, R.J. Olmes and Michelle Olmes Kielawa, all of Connecticut; six great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Cody, Tyler and Brittany Masters all of Indiana and Austin Baumgardner and Patrick Kielawa, both of Connecticut.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Felcie and Rennie.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m.. Saturday, May 25, in the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell, Mo.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, in the Landess Chapel with the Rev. O.H. Brooks officiating.

Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery at Qulin.

Bill Richards

Bill Richards, 60, of Campbell, Mo., died Friday, May 24, 2002, at his residence.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Saturday in the Bradshaw Chapel with the Rev. Dale Shoup officiating.

Burial will be private at the Park Cemetery in Malden Sunday, May 26.
