Wylmo Bradshaw

Wylmo Ruby Tinnin Bradshaw, 83, of Hornersville, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born June 12, 1919, in Missouri, daughter of the late Lewis Clark and Martha L. Brooks Hinesly, she was a nurse, a member of the First United MethodistChurch in Hornersville and Order of the Eastern Star, Hornersville Chapter No. 523.

On Feb. 12, 1938, in Piggott, Ark., she married Clyde Tinnin, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1965. She later married Jack Bradshaw on Oct. 25, 1983, in Hornersville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1994. She was also preceded in death by one grandchild.

Survivors include four daughters, Donna Frey and husband, Paul, of Buffalo, Mo., Sharron Wilkison and husband, Larry, of Rockvale, Tenn., Clydette Crawford and husband, Tony, of Kennett and Martha Jackson, of Kennett; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett with the Rev. Mike Hargraves officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Hornersville.

Sadie Chappell

Sadie Chappell, 86, of Washington, Mo., formerly of Wardell, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002, at her residence.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home of Wardell.

W.A. Gilpin

W.A. Gilpin, 77, of Holcomb, Mo., died today, Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett.

Frank Washington

Frank George Washington, 61, of Marston, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at the John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born Dec. 12, 1940, in Marston, son of the late George and Maynetta Robinson Washington, he was U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam and attended the Church of God in Christ in Malden. He was employed by the New Madrid County Highway Department.

On Oct. 14, 1970, in New Madrid County, he married W. Beatrice Higgs, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include four sisters, Martha Lockridge and husband, Leroy, of Carbondale, Ill., Mae Rogers, of Fresno, Calif., Bertha Jones, of Chicago, Ill. and Dorthy McKinely, of Iowa City, Iowa and one brother, Booker T. Washington and wife, Lovie, of Benton Harbor, Mich.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Lula Sanders and five brothers, Leonard, John, Lawrence, Willie and Joseph Washington.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Harley Higgs officiating.

Burial with military rites will follow at the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden.
