Cletus Barnett

Cletus Wayne Barnett, 67, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 1 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden.

Adam Goodall, Sr.

Adam Goodall, Sr., 83, of Malden, Mo. died Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.

Born Oct. 30, 1918 in Indianola, Miss. to the late Luke and Emma Goodall, he was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

On May 7, 1940, in Moro, Ark., he married Ozella Davis, who preceded him in death on August, 8, 1986.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ora Barber.

Survivors include four sons, Charles Goodall, and wife Carol, of Cleveland, Ohio, Willie J. Goodall, of Champaign, Ill., Adam Goodall, Jr., of Dallas, Texas and Albert Goodall of West Memphis, Ark.; three daughters, Alma Dobbins, of Malden, Mary McCray of Garland, Texas and Patricia Goodall of Malden; 28 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bradshaw Chapel with the Rev. Gene Perkins officiating.

Burial will follow at the Macedonia Cemetery.

Lois Gray

Lois Louise Gray, 78, of St. Charles, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 30 at St. Charles.

Born Saturday, August 30, 1924, to the late Carson and Dora Goodson Smith, she was a homemaker and a Christian.

She married Walter Gray, who preceded her in death

Survivors include four sons, Ronnie Gray, of Texas, Terry and Harold Gray, both of Terre Haute, Ind. and Gary Gray of Troy, Mo.; six daughters, Nancy Marshal of St. Charles, Ellen Eddleman, of Des Moines, Iowa; Linda Golightly, of Overland, Mo., Lisa Fowler, of Cooter, Mo., Tina Zykan, of Warrenton, Mo. and Kim Meyer of Troy; five brothers, Claude Smith of St. Ann, Mo., Gene Smith, of Overland, Mo., Gaylon Smith of Caudleville, Mo., James Smith, of Terre Haute, Richard Smith of St. Paul,; one sister, Betty Walker, of Mesa, Ariz., 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Mo. with the Rev. Gerald Moss officiating.

Burial followed at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.

Vernie McCarthy

Vernie McCarthy, 74, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, Nov. 2 at Gideon Care Center in Gideon, Mo.

Funeral services are incomplete with the Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden .

Dennis Morris

Dennis J. Morris, 78, of Bernie, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 1 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Mo.

Born April 13, 1924 at Charter Oak, Mo., son of the late Dentist and Myrtle Greer Morris, he was a retired farmer and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Bernie.

Survivors include four sons, Frankie Morris of Lilbourn, Mo., Dennis Morris, Jr., of Mountain View, Mo., Michael Todd Morris and Darrel Wayne Morris, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three daughters, Rita Gibbs of Mountain View, Lottie Mae Cannady of Malden, Mo. and Patricia Joanna Gee of Dexter; one brother, Frank Morris, of Big Sandy, Tenn.; one sister, Lottie Wooley of Florida, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation were held today, Nov. 3 at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Shoup officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
