Larry Bodkin

Larry Bodkin, 61, of Kennett, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 14, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Mayes officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

Jonathan Bryant

Jonathan Scott Bryant, 32, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, at Murray, Ky.

Born Jan. 25, 1971, in Caruthersville, son of Dr. William O. Bryant and Geneva Mae Riggs Bryant, both of Hayti, Mo., he was a software designer and teacher at Murray State University. He attended the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church.

On June 5, 1993, in Hayti, he married Laura Jean James, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one daughter, Geneva Katherine Bryant, of Caruthersville; one son, Jonathan Reagan Bryant, of Caruthersville; seven sisters, Stephanie Jane Bryant, of Memphis, Tenn., Margie Holland and Whitney Bryant, both of Fort Myers, Fla., Susan Lockwood, of Flaggstaff, Ariz., Kitty Britton, of Danville, Ind. and Rachel Webb and Rebekah Bryant, both of Caruthersville and one brother, Don Steven Moore, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dwight Chapman officiating.

Burial was in the Maple Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tom Collins, John Dean, Byron A. Luber, Stephend Gaal and Jerry W., Gayle D., Chris and John M. Riggs.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.

Harold Ganus

Harold Ganus, 53, of Steele, Mo., died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at Denton, Mo.

Born March 17, 1949, in Etowah, Ark., son of the late Marcus Dee and Cleo Marie Russell Ganus, he was a preacher, a carpenter and of the Holiness faith.

On Aug. 21, 1970, in Tyler, Mo., he married Cathy D. Thompson, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include two daughters, Wanda Annette Stubbs and husband, Bill and Jennifer Diane Cantrell and husband, DeShawn, all of Prim, Ark.; one son, Stephen Harold Ganus and wife, Valerie, of Prim; five brothers, Gerald Ganus, of Cooter, Carol, Carl and Tracy Ganus, all of Steele and Curtis Ganus, of Marston, Mo.; seven sisters, Christine Ganus, of Batesville, Ark., Olene Reynolds, of Cave City, Ark., Priscilla Riley, of Marion, Ark., Gertrude Britt, of Steele, Marie Hawkins, of Gosnell, Ark., Mary Webb, of Blytheville, Ark. and Retha Goff, of Clarkton, Mo. and four grandchildren, Whitney Diane and Brooklyn Dawn Cantrell, Caleb Stubbs and Julie Darlene Ganus.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Ganus and one sister, Lorene Ganus Jackson.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Friday, Feb. 14, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele with the Revs. Dennis Knapp and Raymond Freeman officiating.

Burial was in the Everett Ridge Cemetery at Prim.
