Ruby Bullock

Ruby Una Bullock, 88, of Silver Spring, Md., died Frieday, March 14, 2003, at her residence.

Born Jan. 17, 1915, in Champion City, Mo., daughter of the late Christian Michel and Dorthea Gleize, she taught school in Union, Mo., Holcomb, Mo. and was the General Music Teacher at Campster School in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was co-owner of the Town Plaza Cafeteria and the Marquette Hotel, a freelance writer, a member of the American Legion and a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

In 1942, she married Thadius J.R. Bullock, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Homer C., Leland, Wesley and Dr. Russell Michel and two sisters, Clarissa Winkle and Dorothea Michel.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Bullock and wife, Lucy, of La Plata, Md.; three daughters, Carol Ann Finch and husband, William, of Silver Spring, Janet I. Kessler, of Richmond, Va. and Jeanne M. Bullock, of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren, James R. Bullock, of Sterling, Va. and Christine M. Bullock and 16 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, March 19, at the Kensington Baptist Church in Kensington, Md.

Burial was in the Parklawn Cemetery at Rockville, Md. Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home in Silver Spring was in charge of arrangements.

Perry Clark

Rev. Perry Lynn Clark, 64, of Parma, Mo., died Monday, March 17, 2003.

Born May 2, 1938, in Steele, Mo., son of the late Perry Earl and Irene Adams Clark, he was a Southern Baptist minister and a member of the Huie Baptist Church.

On Nov. 14, 1958, in Tallapoosa, Mo., he married Beatrice Lee Trout, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include two daughters, Regina Lynn Reed and husband, Robert, of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Tina Maria Kennedy and husband, Sam, of Midlothian, Va.; one brother, Benny Clark, of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Nancy Carlisle and husband, Kenny, of Lilbourn, Mo. and Teresa Clark, of Boone N.C. and two granddaughters, Ariel and Sidney Kennedy, both of Midlothian.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today, March 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Benny Clark officiating.

Burial will follow at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.

Ethel King

Ethel Alma King, 89, of Paragould, Ark., died Monday, March 17, 2003, at the Methodist Hospital in Paragould.

Born Jan. 11, 1914, in Holcomb, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Scott W. and Laura Ann Knox Bradshaw.

On Sept. 12, 1945, in Neosho, Mo., she married Delbert I. King, who preceded her in death on July 29, 1983. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, James Johnson, Jr.; one step-daughter, Joyce Hennson; five brothers, Jessie, Luther, Albert, Harry and Truman Bradshaw and on sisiter, Nell Coninger.

Survivors include three sons, James Edward Durham, of Gallion, Ala., John Alvin Durham, of Ocean Springs, Miss. and Doyle Dennison King, of Rockford, Ill.; one step-son, Darrell King, of Conyers, Ga.; one daughter, Sandra Diane Johnson, of Paragould; two brothers, Jewel Bradshaw, of White Oak, Mo. and Junior Bradshaw, of Portland, Ore.; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 19, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Gene Wood officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Bill Mayberry

Bill Mayberry, 66, of Arbyrd, Mo., died Monday, March 17, 2003, at his residence.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Arbyrd.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Denny Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lulu Cemetery.

Rodney Miller, Sr.

Rodney Eugene Miller, Sr., 45, of Wardell, Mo., died Monday, March 17, 2003, at his residence.

Born April 1, 1957, in Gideon, Mo., son of the late Doyle and Mary Ellen Clifton Miller, he was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church in Wardell.

On Sept. 3, 1976, in Wardell, he married Debbie Haven, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include three sons, Rodney, Jr., Cody and Charlie Miller, all of Wardell; three brothers, Billy Miller, of Odessa, Texas, Gary Miller, of Wauchula, Fla. and Bruce Miller, of Texas and three sisters, Connie Gladling, of Alexander, Va., Kathy Davis, of Lake Placid, Fla. and Sheila Delossantos, of Charleston, N.C.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 19, at the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Wardell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Baptist Church of Wardell with the Rev. Griff Walker officiating.

Burial will follow at the Wallace-Mound Cemetery in Wardell.

Katherine Price

Katherine Price, 83, of Steele, Mo., died Saturday, March 15, 2003, at River Oaks Care Center in Steele.

Born July 7, 1919, in Mississippi, she was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Rock Bapist Church in Hermondale, Mo.

Survivors include one daughter, Bernice Arnold, of Steele; son-in-law, Joe Willie Arnold, of Steele and one grandson, Robert Arnold.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home in Steele.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the Bradshaw-Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.L. Burton officiating.

Burial will follow at the Morning Star Cemetery in Steele.

Margaret Radican

Margaret Kirkbride Radican, 96, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Friday, March 14, 2003, at Silver Ridge Health Care Center in Las Vegas.

Born Oct. 9, 1906, in Christian County, Ill., daughter of the late Harry Lowell and Iris Cook Kirkbride, she was retired from the banking industry and was a former member of the Malden United Methodist Church.

On May 26, 1938, in Malden, she married Joseph Radican, who preceded her in death on July 3, 1985. She was also preceded in death by one son, Joe Lynn Radican; three sisters, Mildred Mohr, Marie Finney and Ada Flake and three brothers, Lowell, Robert and Richard Kirkbride.

Survivors include one daughter, Sally Shelton and husband, Jerry, of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Debra Van Wagner, of Gaithersburg, Md., Jeri Lea Leddon, of Springfild, Va., Colleen Biri, of St. Charles, Mo. and Joe Radican, of Maryland Heights, Mo. and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Morgan officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Hazel Small

Hazel Small, 81, of Kennett, died today, Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at National Health Care in Kennett.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett.

Mary Wilson

Mary Wilson, 92, of Senath, Mo., died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
