Phillip Graham

Phillip "Phlip" Graham, 22, of Wilhemina, Mo., died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He was born Sept. 6, 1980, in Blytheville, Ark. A graduate of the Campbell, Mo. High School, he attended the Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents, Peggy and Steve Fieser of Wilhelmina; a brother William Graham of Wilhelmina; two sisters, Crystal and Clara Fieser of Wilhelmina; an aunt, Mary Gaultney of Clarkton, Mo. and step-grandparents Bob and Pat Fieser of Wilhelmina.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clovis and Norma Hyde.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, March 30, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with Father Glenn Eftink officiating.

Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Wilhelmina.

Pallbearers will be William Graham, Joby Heskett, Ivan Hanners, Mark Mintin, Jarred Heskett and Adam Deken.

Honorary pallbearers are Amber Mintin, Justin Heskett and P.F. Blessike.

Jason Jarred

Jason Pery Jarred, 29, of Steele, Mo., died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti, Mo.

Born Oct. 31, 1973, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Dennis C. Jarred of Greensboro, N.C. and Cindy Pery Brown, of Steele, he attended school in Steele, was of the Baptist faith and worked at a farm laborer.

On June 27, 2001, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Lisa Fowler, who survives.

Other survivors include three sisters, Jessica Jarred and Joanna Jarred of Greensboro; grandfather, Jackie Pery of Steele; grandmother, Yvonne Keefer of Obion, Tenn.; great-grandfathers, James W. Pery of Steele and Jessie Whitt of Palmersville, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Joyce Poley and Henry Jarred and by great-grandmothers, Clodeth E. Pery and Geraldine Whitt.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, at H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Mousie officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.

Pallbearers were Patrick Pery, Joe Erwin, Dallas Jarred, Jackie Lancaster, Brad Davis and John Hensley.

Morella Lawrence

Morella Lawrence, 70, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, March 28, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Arrangements are incomplete with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden.

Louisa Mansfield

Louisa Mansfield, 79, of Troy, Mo. and formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Friday, March 28, 2003, at Troy Manor Nursing Home.

Arrangements are incomplete with Landess Funeral Home of Campbell.

Rosalyn Sanders

Rosalyn Sanders, 83, of Senath, Mo., died Friday, March 28, 2003, at NEA Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, March 30, at the Assembly of God Church in Senath with the Rev. Wayland Tom officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Arrangements under direction of McDaniel Funeral Service of Senath.

Helen Valentine

Helen Valentine, 82, of Kennett, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at her residence.

Born Sept. 25, 1920, in Natchez, Miss., she was a daughter of the late Phil and Mamie Huff Felton.

On Aug. 24, 1999, she married Andrew D. Valentine, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Vertis Felton.

Survivors include two nephews, Andrew Felton and wife, Eloise, of Sauk Village, Ill. and Henry Felton and wife, Addie, of Chicago, Ill. and one niece, Eunice, and husband, Andrew of Chicago.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John AME Church in Kennett, with the Rev. Juliet Hemphill officiating.

Burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
