Millie Adams

Millie Marie Adams, 56, of Gideon, Mo., died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.

Born Aug. 2, 1946, in Barien, Mich., daughter of the late John and Maggie Morgan Eaves, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gideon.

On April 18, 2000, in Gideon, she married Harvie Gene Adams, who preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2002.

Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Williams, of St. Louis, Mo. and two brothers, David Eaves, of Fulton, Mo. and John Eaves.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. today, Thursday, April 17, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Gideon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.

veteran William Bowling

William Monroe Bowling, 81, of Campbell, Mo., died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born May 20, 1921, in Plumerville, Ark., son of the late William Luther and Florence Guiling Bowling, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during WWII, a farmer and realtor. He was a member of the Campbell Rotary Club, the Campbell American Legion Post 109 and a member of the Missouri Board of Realtors.

On June 28, 19419, in Campbell, he married Martha Runnels, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one daughter, Suetta Veatch; one son, Gary Bowling and wife, Marsha; four grandchildren, Tamara M. Gowin, William M. Bowling, Rebecca V. Hays and Christopher L. Veatch and 11 great-grandchildren, Garrett, Mason, Jacob and Hailey Bowling, Corey and Zach Gowin, Raven Morphis and Adam, William, Taylor and Carson Hays.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Billie Fern Bowling; twins; one brother, John Isom Bowling and one sister, Josephine Garrison.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, April 17, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, at the General Baptist Church in Campbell with the Rev. Ronnie Stevens and Pastor Earl D. Dell officiating.

Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.

A.J. Earls, 89, of Kennett, died today, Thursday, April 17, 2003, at his residence.

Goldie Phillips, 71, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at her residence.

Ethel Stinson, 95, of Keokuk, Iowa, formerly of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Keokuk Hospital.

Alice Watson

Alice Watson, 95, of Hollister, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Monday, April 14, 2003, at her residence.

Born Jan. 23, 1908, in Flowerlake, Miss., she was a member of the New Life Temple Church in Hollister.

Survivors include six sons, William Shan and wife, Dixie, of Moberly, Mo., J.C. Watson and wife, Imogene and Robert Watson and wife, Louise, all of Malden, Henry Watson and wife, Ernestine, of Oglesby, Ill., Gayle Watson and wife, Pat, of Utica, Ill. and Wayne Watson, of Hollister; four daughters, Novella Taylor and husband, Ernest, of Hollister, Ruby Parks and husband, Clarence, of Malden, Ruth Ruby and husband, John, of Branson, Mo. and Mary Haney and husband, Dudley, of Springfield, Mo.; 47 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Shan.

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, at the Church of God in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18 at the Church of God with the Rev. James Wampler officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden is in charge of arrangements.
