Bootheel Conference Tournaments are ON

The Bootheel Conference Tournament for boys' basketball will be played Feb. 16-21, and will be moved to Portageville due to power issues from the recent ice storm at Senath

The schedule goes like this:

Varsity (all games at Portageville High):

First round:
Monday, Feb. 16
(4) Hayti vs. (5) Malden, 5 p.m.
(3) South Pemiscot vs. (6) Caruthersville, 6:30 p.m.
(2) Kennett vs. (7) Senath-Hornersville, 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 18
Semifinals:
2-7 winner vs. 3-6 winner, 6 p.m.
(1) Portageville vs. 4-5 winner, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 21
Championship
Semifinal winners, 4:30 p.m.

Junior Varsity (all games at Portageville Junior High, except the championship, to be played at the high school):

First round:
Monday, Feb. 16
(2) Portageville vs. (7) Senath-Hornersville, 5 p.m.
(4) Hayti vs. (5) Malden, 6:30 p.m.
(3) Caruthersville vs. (6) South Pemiscot, 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 18

The girls' basketball tournament will begin Wednesday, Feb. 11. More information will be posted later.
