Kennett grabs third seed at BloomfieldPosted Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at 3:48 PM
The Kennett Indians earned the No. 3 seed at the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament that was seeded over the weekend, the Tribe's highest seed at the annual tourney in recent years.
Kennett likely earned the third seed on the strength of a strong performance at the Potosi Invitational -- where the Indians finished third -- and on the strength of a strong returning group. Bernie earned the top seed, while Portageville is second, Hayti is No. 4 and Dexter is the fifth seed. Kennett will take on No. 14 Van Buren at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 26 and will face either Twin Rivers or Malden on Saturday, Dec. 27. The full bracket for the tourney can be found here. |
