My Super Bowl prediction

The biggest sports day in America is here at last. Whether you like football or not, the Super Bowl is the biggest day in American sports. Even people who don't like sports at all will watch the game, if nothing else to see the commercials and the halftime show.

So without further ado, what's my take on what will happen on the field between the New England Patriots and New York Giants in Glendale, Ariz. Sunday?

The last time these two teams met, it was the regular-season finale and was aired on three networks -- CBS, NBC and the NFL Network. And the millions of viewers weren't disappointed, as the Patriots rallied for a 38-35 win to secure the first 16-0 regular season in NFL history.

Sunday's rematch has the potential to be a classic, to say the least.

That said, I'm taking the Patriots. I'm not saying it will be a blowout, but it could be. Either way, New England has done what great teams do -- find ways to win even when they play lousy. And if it's close, I suspect they will again in the desert.

Either way, it'll be a good watch...

I've got to take the Giants. Like you said there was only a 3 pt. differance last time they played. The word of the day is IF. IF Eli can stay calm & play consistent it ought to be a really good game. IF not its going to be a long day for the Giants.
