Cooper commits to Kansas State

One of the area's top high school football prospects has made his college choice for next season.

William Cooper, an all-region lineman on Hayti's Class 1 state quarterfinalist team this season, has verbally committed to play football at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan. next season, Cooper confirmed Monday night.

Look for more information next week at Semoball and in the Daily Dunklin Democrat, as players can officially sign letters of intent starting February 6.
