Parr has also scored 13 rushing TDs and has a fumble return for a score. FYI, Mills has a passer rating of 110.7, while Parr's is 93.6. Running backs: Dexter sophomore Nick Hessling has ran for 815 yards and eight TDs on 153 carries (a 5.3 yards per carry average), while Kennett senior Demetrius Childress has ran for 842 yards and nine scores on 138 carries (a 6.1 YPC average). Receivers: Dexter senior Bobby Rawson is the area's leading receiver with 33 catches for 457 yards and eight touchdowns, while classmate Eric Windham has 29 catches for 335 yards and four scores. Meanwhile, Kennett junior Jarvis Finley has 17 catches for 354 yards and two TDs, while classmate and fullback Tevin Hampton has 24 catches for 230 yards and a TD and tight end Cameron Conder has 12 catches for 159 yards and a pair of scores. Common opponents: Dexter and Kennett have each gone 4-0 against their common opponents this season -- Charleston, Caruthersville, Malden and Sikeston. Dexter has outscored that quartet 142-13, while Kennett has a 121-71 advantage against the foursome. Against Malden and Sikeston, those margins are 60-0 for Dexter and 72-23 for Kennett. More in Thursday's edition. It is Kennett's homecoming, but there is a twist this year that is kind of interesting... |
