I'm 29-1 with my picks this year, which either proves that I really know high school football, or this isn't reall that hard to do (probably a lot of the latter). So, without further ado, here's Buhler's picks for week 7.

Caruthersville at Dexter: The Tigers have struggled mightily in 2007, losing their first six games and allowing almost 45 points on defense.
Meanwhile, the Bearcats have struggled, but have more than enough to take this one.
Buhler's pick: Dexter.

Scott City at Hayti: Scott City bounced back from a pair of losses with a win against Brentwood last week, while Hayti put up over 500 yards of offense and won a 55-30 shootout with Liberty out of Mountain View.
This is a nice rivalry, but I think the Indians have too many weapons.
Buhler's pick: Hayti.

Chaffee at Malden: My, how things have changed in this rivalry. Chaffee enters this game 4-2 and is looking like it might be Hayti's biggest competition to win Class 1, District 2.
On the other side, Malden is sputtering and desperately needs a spark. A win this week could provide it, but...
Buhler's pick: Chaffee.

Poplar Bluff at Jackson: This could be the best game in southeast Missouri tonight as the Indians host the Mules with the SEMO North title on the line. Bluff is still smarting from getting blasted at Farmington last week, and the big rivalry between these two schools makes it all the better.
Jackson is arguably the best team in the SEMO Conference, but I think this could go either way. Still...
Buhler's pick: Jackson.

And last but not least...

Kennett at Sikeston: Sikeston has had the Tribe's number the last two years, getting its first wins of the season at Kennett's expense. With the Bulldogs entering Friday on a four-game winning streak, they would like to snap that streak tonight again at the Indians' expense.
On the other side, Kennett can lock up a winning season -- its first since 2000 -- with a victory tonight.
Expect this to be a battle, but this is a different Indians' team than Kennett has had in a while...
Buhler's pick: Kennett.

And for my NFL picks on the Rams, Chiefs and Titans, here goes...

Rams at Ravens: Steven Jackson is still banged up, but Brian Leonard ran for 102 yards last week and Gus Frerotte threw for three touchdowns (and three INTs) in place of Marc Bulger.
The Ravens are good, but they're inconsistent and I think I'm going to go out on a limb and pick the underdog.
Buhler's pick: Rams.

Bengals at Chiefs: It's the strong O, weak D of the Cincinnati Bengals vs. the strong D, weak O of the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals have underachieved this season, but should have enough firepower to score against KC -- and enough defense to make it stand up.
Buhler's pick: Bengals.

Titans at Buccaneers: Tennessee won ugly last weekend against the Falcons, but it won with one of the most impressive performances on defense I've seen in quite a while. Meanwhile, the Bucs are banged up, but are still 3-2 and have been one of the better teams in the NFC this year.
The Titans will need to play better this weekend than they did against the Falcons, but I think they will...
Buhler's pick: Titans.
