BadBones, you were right.

When I read BadBones' comments on my picks blog last week, I just assumed it was the opinion of a diehard Chiefs' fan. Boy, was I surprised Sunday when Kansas City went to Qualcomm Stadium and beat the San Diego Chargers 30-16. After scoring just 26 points all season, the Chiefs got it going against the defending AFC West champions.

Lo and behold, the Chiefs are in a three-way tie for first place with Denver and Oakland one-fourth of the way through the season.

Dwayne Bowe has stepped up and become a strong receiver and Larry Johnson broke loose for a 123-yard effort after struggling to a 140-yard total in the first three games. And maybe the rebuilt line is starting to gel. While I'm not sold on Kansas City making the playoffs in a tough AFC, you've got to happy now if you bleed red and gold.

The same cannot be said for the St. Louis Rams, who along with the Miami Dolphins are the NFL's only 0-4 teams.

The Rams have played totally, completely atrocious the last two games. I know the team misses Orlando Pace, but St. Louis won with Pace sidelined last season. What gives?

That said, I think the Rams might have a chance to beat Arizona Sunday. True, the Cardinals are coming off of a nice win over the previously-undefeated Steelers, but this is the NFL, where any team, even the St. Louis Rams, can beat any other team on any day. But I wouldn't hold my breath -- this team could just as easily end up 1-15 or 2-14. We'll see...

Finally, the Titans had last week off, joining the Jaguars, Saints and Redskins as the first teams to have bye weeks in '07. However, the Titans' game this weekend against Atlanta could be a little tougher than expected. The Falcons are coming off of their first win -- against an improved Texans team -- and Tennessee has a bad history of playing poorly after Monday night games. But more on this weekend later in the week...

As I am a DIEHARD CHIEFS FAN! I was incorrect on the return of Eddie Kennison last week. However this week I will be true to my words "Kennison Will Return" as this is a game at home and Kennison will be covered in a lot of man-to-man. Thats 1 on 1 folks. So start him in your fantasy football. To bet against the Chiefs winning at home appears to be a little crazy with the history of the 12th man.

Sunday at noon the 3rd ranked D (Chiefs)and the 4th ranked D (Jags) will meet in Arrowhead. Makes for a great sunday dont ya think?

I am sorry to say that it is a long season and Rams Fans will have to endure the pain of the rest of the year. Think about it, your 0-4 and you have to put in the back up QB. Well it could be a spark that opens it up. I guess we will see this weekend wont we? No TD's in the last 30 possessions. Thats scary coming from the greatest show on turf.

As for the Titans, I'm with ya 100%. The Falcons may shock a few people.
