Write them off!

Ever since the last Major League Baseball players strike, I have pretty much written off major league baseball. I have not attended a game since, and I have not watched more than six or seven on television.
The Hollywood writers have now been on strike and, for just a little bit, I would write off at least some of the television programs I've been watching. For example, I thought Jay Leno and David Letterman were supposed to be funny. Turns out they are not. Regarding the writers strike, Leno said, "I've been working with these people for 20 years. Without them, I'm not funny. I'm a dead man." My thought: Jay Leno, prepare for your memorial service! I used to think Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert were funny and effective communicators. Turns out they depend upon writers too. The Daily Show should now be called, "The un-Daily Show." The Colbert Report should now be called, "The Hollywood Writer's Report." If these entertainers cannot produce at least a few shows without other writers, I think it's time to write them off. They should give me the job. I work cheap and I write my own stuff... haha
Some of the stuff just isnt funny anymore. So I say write them off and then hire me. AHhh, A 6 figure income. I could live with that. lol
These people of the media and in Hollyweird, are the same ones who constantly pontificate as to how the rest of us should live and behave as per their norms. While they in fact, cannot function without hundreds of highly paid writers to put those sage words into their mouths.
IMO, celebrity, is just another word for an overpaid idiot.

did you see that cat last night on t.v.? the impersonator man?? that dude was way too funny...comes on every tues night at 10c...you have to watch him..
I think it's ridiculous that at their salaries they can justify going on strike!
Celebrity= overpaid idiot. TOO FUNNY!
