Observations -- Pulling strings

Have you ever noticed how easy various aspects of life are easily totally messed up? Little effort is required to really mess things up.

On the other hand, care and attention are necessary in order to keep things straight and orderly.

I thought of this the other night when I was in bed looking at the mini-blinds above my head. The strings used to raise and lower the mini-blinds were twisted something terrible. I wondered, How in the world might this have happened? How could these strings get so tangled up?

So I set out to untangle the strings. Untangling those strings, straighting them out took a lot of effort and work! I untangled for what seemed like 30 minutes before eventually getting those strings untangled.

As I was untangling those strings I observed how easily things get messed up when left unattended, and how easy it is to keep those same things untangled when given only a little attention two or three times each day.

Perhaps there is a lesson for life in those strings? What do you think?

I would just cut the strings off...simple fix to a huge life altering problem!

I think polebarnbuilder has missed the entire point!

Perhaps there is some insight into polebarnbuilder and others in the comment. Where we would take the time to solve the problem whatever it is and try to prevent it from happening again, there are many people who would rather remove the problem completly without ever solving it, and that is a logical choice, only for me I have learned that if a person does not solve the problem when it first arises and not just take the quick way out, later on the problem will be a bigger harder to solve one. Just like those blinds, to cut them would be quick and easy, but how will you raise them again to let a greater light into your life.
