Chris Duncan and newly acquired Russell Branyan propelled the Cardinals past the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday and the team moved back over the .500 mark. Will they finish the season there? They sure appear to be having difficulty staying over that mark!

Joel Pineiro has won for the fourth time in six starts as a Cardinal.

The team has won five of its last six games and now has the same number of losses as the Chicago Cubs.

They have 26 remaining games with 12 homes games left, so they certainly have time to win their division again.

Will they do it? Will the winningest manager in Cardinals' history [Can that actually be true!?] lead the team to another World Series? Will they finish the season above .500?
