Posted Sunday, March 21, 2010, at 11:15 AM

Everyone please keep the family and many friends of Mr. Lenard Elder in your prayers.

He was a remarkable man, a great teacher, bus driver and best of all a friend to my family growing up If you went to Deering school and he knew you, he never forgot your name.

You are now with the Angels.

Mr. Elder was everyone's "favorite" teacher back in the 60's & 70's. He was loved by many and respected by all. He will truly be missed. My thoughts & prayers are with his wife and family.
