My husband is driving a truck now for Emerson Electric since the plant closed. He is gone 5 days a week. I ask your prayers that God will open a new door to a good job that will keep him home at night to be with me and to be here to see our grandson play sports.

I have a prayer request. I have a friend who has a little boy...lets call him "Little D" (6 years old) and he had a brain tumor removed. It was cancerous and he is not doing real great right now. He has only recently started taking radiation treatments and he is already losing weight and has been violently ill from the radiation. HE IS ALSO ALREADY LOSING ALL HIS HAIR.

After the radiation he will be taking 7 months of chemo with each treatment requiring him to stay in the hospital 6 days each month.

Please put him and his family on your prayer list. If he is already showing this kind of after effects of just the radiation treatments I am real worried what the chemo is going to do to him. They need all the support and prayers that can be given. thanks in advance.

To Mizzouchargerfan:

I read this a week ago and it broke my heart and I have been praying for this marriage. I am only in my 30's but when I began my current employment, I had a co-worker who had been married for over 30 years whose husband had an affair on her as I was starting this job. It devastated me to think this could be me in 30 years (being a young wife). I think oftentimes adults get so involved in their children and their careers that their marriage suffers but they don't realize it until the children are out of the home and then suddenly they realize they are living with a stranger who they have nothing in common with. However, this is NO excuse! I do pray your father will open his eyes before it's too late and that if he does, that God comforts your mother and helps her forgive and rebuild as only God can enable. I also pray for peace for you; my parents almost divorced when I was still in the home and it forever scarred my outlook on life and marriage. They remained married but both died at a very early age and I miss them terribly. Just rely on God for your comfort and trust him to work things out for His purpose. Know the answer is on its way! In the meantime, don't let anger consume your joy.

I was wondering if someone would pray for my husband. He does not believe in God nor will have anything to do with religion. I prayed all of my life for a child until one night I left it with God and told him to let his will be done. At 38 years old, I gave birth to an 8 lb. baby girl. She is a year old now. I know she is from God and I promised God that I would make sure she knows who He is and what He can do for her because He loves her so much. Although, I am going to keep my promise, it sure would be a lot easier if I had the support of my husband but more importantly,,his soul needs it. Please pray for me and my family. Thank you.

Please pray for my husband who will be leaving for training to Fort Chaffee, MS on the 28th of this month for his second tour in Iraq. His unit will back in Country around the first of January. They are supposed to be there for another two years. His first tour over there he was hurt and sustained injuries to his right side where he now deals with pain all the time and sometimes cannot feel his right foot from numbness. He did have several nerves cortirized in his lower back. After filing for VA Comp, they only gave him a 20% disabilty on his lower back and denied his other. I know there are soldiers that have claimed PTSD there in Kennett that have gotten 40% or more disabilty and were never hurt in Iraq and sent home, just filed after their tour when they came home. I hope they can keep all these guys still fighting for them in their prayers without feeling guilty. My husband is proud to go back because he is doing this for his country. Myself I am a little selfish and want him to be here for his own children. Please pray for him for I don't know how he will adjust to carrying all the gear that he needs without putting the strain on his back and keeping him from his duties as a soldier or put him in harms way. I will keep all you in my prayers the same.

To the "Very Worried Grandma" I know the Wilcoxson's, just through business. I will pray for Josh & his safe return. God is a good God. His plans are for us to prosper & not to hurt us! I have a burden for our soldiers and respect them greatly! Jeremiah 29:11 post this on your frig and pray over him, claim & believe this EVERYTHING!!!

To the lady who was thinking about my husband who did leave on the 28th to go to training to leave again for Iraq later on. I feel the same as you but when we are so short of troops anyways and so many of them that have been that understand what is going on, I don't blame them for wanting to claim disability and not have to go back. Yet, when you don't sustain physical injury and can claim mentally and get compensation for it, it is not fair to the SOLDIERS that are the same as them and do get hurt. My husband was sent a letter on Saturday the 29th that said he also had 40% PTBD (Post Traumatic Brain Disorder)which is a slight different than PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), but has not been compensated through the VA for it because he is now gone. I did send the letter and he is "supposed" to get to go in front of a medical reveiw board there on the 24th of this month. Now, why couldn't they have done this before? Because they need the soldiers that aren't worried about just getting a check, but want to protect our children and our country! Please keep him in your prayers.

I would like everyone to remember my dad in there prayers, his name is Leland Stark. He has been off work now for 3 weeks and is in the hospital. He would appreciate all the prayer's everyone has to offer. God is a mighty God, and he will bring him through this we just have to "KEEP THE FAITH". There is a website set up for him for anyone wishing to donate, or you can go to any Liberty Bank in Arkansas and he has a benefit account set up for him there. The website is at http://ljstark.net/ Thank you and God Bless, His one and only daughter, Jodi (:
