The Haunted TheaterPosted Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 2:06 PM
I took the kids out monday night to the Halloween Haunted Theater presented by Semo Little Theater and the Dunklin County ICARE (Individual Cancer Assistance Relief Effort) Organization. I got there a little early and talked with a few of the spooks that haunt the theater. As they are all prepaired to make someone pee their pants. For a third time since they opened, I might add. It seems that Beverly, Trisha, Tanisha, and Ashley were really excited about being able to scare somebody and even though I was dressed as the dead I was still told that I looked like Bret Micheal's. It's this darn hat I tell ya! I'm sorry if I misspelled or left out any ones name, You all did a great job. Now without giving up the element of surprise I'm not going to tell you everything. Aw I know, Don't you just hate it. Now I talked with different people before they went through the Haunted Theater and as I learned from many replies like "I was scared as soon as I walked in the door" said Elaine before she went through. I had also caught up with the ones that made it out alive and asked them what they thought was the best part of the haunted Theater was and I received multiple answers on the subject. Some said the Fortune Teller, Some said the Maze of Darkness and some replied with the Chain Saw as well as much more. Like I said, I'm not going to tell you everything. There is thirteen rooms of fright and it is set up in true spook house tradition and the only way that you will get to experience the excitement is if you go out and see it for yourself.
They will be open from 6pm to 10pm all week and will stay open until midnight on Halloween. Admission is only $5 for students and $7 Adults. The proceeds will benefit the Semo Little Theater and ICARE. ICARE provides direct assistance to individual cancer patients in Dunklin County with financial needs not covered by other cancer support organizations. You can call DCCC at 573-717-1158 for specific information. When I found out that it was to help out a cancer org. I decided to help out. So don't freak out if you find out that I am your guide through the Halloween Haunted Theater. That is " If Your Not Too Scared To Come Out" You may find the Halloween Haunted Theater at 112 Kennett St. across from the Kennett Police Dept. in Kennett Mo. So in the words of the famous Crypt Keeper, I'll Scare Ya Later kiddies, MooHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!BadBones............. Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

You are a HOOT!
Good article, but "Michael's" is not possessive; no apostrophe needed!
Thank you for the correction semo7178. My automated spell checker must not be as good as I thought..lol
