BadBones -- 3 Doors Down in PB

Every time I hear someone say they wished their favorite band would come to our area I think to myself, "Why?" You will not go buy a ticket if they did!

See, 3 Doors Down is coming to Poplar Bluff and that is a major band that is going to be in our local area. The bad part of this is that if this show does not do well then it may close the doors to future bands that would like to play in our area.

We have to support our area music scene or it is going to die out and fade away. One way to support it is to go out and see some of the shows that are out there. And when a major band comes in we need to make them feel wanted or other bands will see that this is not an area that has any kind of market other than local music.

We should really be thankful for the venues that we have in our area because when gas hits $5 a gallon you will not be seeing your favorite groups in Memphis or St. Louis because you will not be able to pay for the gas there and back.

So wouldn't it be nice to be able to drive a short distance and see a great band. Well you can! And, if you do, maybe bigger and better may come to our area.
