BadBones: Masters of Music

I set here thinking about the top musicians in our area and how it is judged. How is it that we pick the best musician in our area? Do we look at it as money made? Maybe we look at it by fame? Most likely we look at him by the hits he has, right?
But does that really tell the whole truth about musicians or are we blind enough to look over the fact that we do not know the background of these musicians, nor do we know the accomplishments that they have had to over come to get to where they are now. I am going to try and get a few interviews with a few of the family members of some of the musicians that I am referring too, and post it here in my blog for you to see. This is not the easiest place to get famous. We are not in Hollywood. So what kind of help did they get? What was the first instrument they started out with? Who got it for them? And so on. I hope to be able to interview these three talented people as well. I don't know if that will happen. But I have one that has agreed to do an interview. So I look forward to that interview to be coming to you soon. I know you're wanting to know who I am talking about when I say musicians in our area, and I wish I could tell you. Now, if you guess them right in the comment section I will tell you if you if you guess it right or not. Do you know the three from Kennett? no prob. I'll see what I can find out about it if I get time.
That I don't know, Sorry.
Did his band start out around here or did he join the band somewhere else?
He is in Little Big Town. He grew up between Bragg City and Pascola. They are a HUGE country act. He's the blonde with shoulder length hair. His dad is John Sweet, who moved around the Ozarks about 10 yrs ago. He has a sister named Cheryl (spelling unsure), not sure where she lives now.
I'm not sure. Did you google the band. I've heard of the band but dont know who or where they are from. If you find out let me know, THX
Okay, I could google him, but who is Phillip Sweet?
Phillip Sweet is from here? I didnt know that. Do you know who his parents are?
We all seem to forget about Phillip Sweet (Little Big Town) He's from Pascola.
Okay, I am Blonde! Whats the name of his band? lol
HAHAHA You got it! Hey! I'm Blonde!!! lol..
Yes, it is Cris Brown from One Less Reason
As for Johnny, No I didnt know that, I will look into it further and see what I can do to maybe get an extra interview with him as well. Thats great news to hear someone else is doing well. I like success stories.
Chris Brown of course....blonde moment hit. ha
No not off hand, need another hint... but back to Johnny. Are you aware that his band has been doing gigs on Sunset strip in LA? Also worth mentioning is his new album is also doing very well. Its totally amazing the amount of muscial talent grown right in the bootheel of Missouri.
Yes, Sheryl is one of them. Sorry for throwing you off with the "He" part.
Yes, Trent Tomlinson is one of them
& No, Johnny McMullin is not one of them.
Can you think of who else has become big in the music industry? Here is a hint, the abbreviation for this guys band is "OLR"
I am guessing one is Johnny McMullin? You say HE....could a she be included?? Ok then you can't leave out Sheryl. Third Don Tomlinsons son....sorry, forgot his first name.
