Agriculturist, Mr. and Mrs. Barry Aycock and son Joel of Parma have returned after attending the inauguration festivities of Governor Jay Nixon in Jefferson City, Mo. last week.

Wray and Barbara Graham and son of Byhalia, Mississippi spent the weekend in Malden. On Sunday morning, Wray filled the pulpit of the First Christian Church for morning services. Wray is on the staff of the Memphis Christian College. Barbara is the former Barbara Haworth of Malden and a Malden High School graduate.

Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Krupinski and children Paige and Zachary have returned home following a trip to Chicago and area where they visited with their daughter Katherine Krupinski and other relatives. Katherine is a second year student at Northwestern Illinois University.

Mrs. Lee Smith has returned home following a visit with relatives in Memphis.

Mrs. Amy Hallman and two daughters, Samantha and Summer, of St. Louis spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Deen.

Malden folks attended the 27th annual Ag Expo Beauty Pageant 2013 held at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff last weekend.

Mrs. Barbara Bath and her entire family have returned home following a holiday week spent in Florida.

The afternoon study club of the Stokelan Drive Christian Church met at the church on Thursday afternoon at four o' clock.

Malden folks attended the special program held at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau last week in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. week.
